LIFE GOES ON

Seriously, I don't care shit if Osama is dead or not. Frankly, I have lost all trust in such largely global crisis. I have several reasons to feel so.
1. VICIOUS CIRCLE - US aides Pakistan, which aides Al-Qaida, so basically, instead of directly selling Osama the arms, they were routing it through Pakistan who anyway can't raise their voice against the US.
2. STRANGE NEWS - Within two days of his death, news from within the US political camp seem different about whether Mr Osama was armed or not, and whether his wife is dead or injured. I mean, what the hell was the President watching LIVE and biting his jaws on? Are you kidding me? They see something live, yet don't know WHAT to report? The first report stated he was shot twice, once in the head and the other in the chest (just in case the bastard was still alive!?!), and now, the report states
3. SEA BURIAL - Who the hell gives a sea burial and WHY? Because no nation would want to do his burial. Fools could have used it as a bait for nabbing the others na? If YOU felt that a proper burial was required, surely his GANG members would have thought the same. After all, he's the big leader! Come on, see Bollywood and learn guys...
4. THE KING OF HOAXES - Let's face it, hoaxing is nothing new to the US. Whether being first to encounter aliens, land on moon or kill Osama, they have seen it all and done it all.
5. 9/11 DRAMA - Talking of hoaxes, can't forget the one that started the Osama chase. Conspiracy theories wonder whether even this was staged.
6. "JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE" - Mr Obama's remarks after he saw Osama being shot dead. It's simple, you kill my people, I kill you. Wonder why India is not doing that with Kasab. The Indian Govt is worried that Karkare, Salaskar, and Kamte's family maybe the first to exclaim so.
7. WORLD DOMINANCE - The US army is everywhere. And with good reasons. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia, you name it, they are there. And reasons? Well, political unrest!!! Soon we'll have them in Mumbai, guzzling down at Colaba while Navy Seals are bringing the political unrest between Shiv Sena and the MNS to a stop. You see, US has the uncanny knack of butting its ass in the most formidable of cases, that which will last almost forever, and which benefit them. In this case, MNS vs Shiv Sena is a never ending dual.
8. CAVE vs MANSION - I can't believe this. US is asking Pakistan for answers!!! Not that it's not reasonable, but just because the US saw some strange footages of Osama near some mountaneous landscape, they started bombing the shit out of that place, supposedly ran around there for years, only to realise that this bugger is "aaram se" enjoying in the mansion with his harem. Why are they surprised? They should feel insulted rather!!!!
9. THE KING LIVES ON - Osama is dead, but to kill the ideology will take US a massacre of the WW level. THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE EQUALLY CAPABLE TO REPLACE THE BAD GUY, IT THE GOOD GUY WHO'S HARD TO REPLACE.
10. EMOTIONAL TIRENESS - Much like the people of Pakistan who witness murders and rapes and other atrocities at large, and felt not emotionally charged on hearing the death of Osama, even I, having constantly being bombarded with some news or the other about him, have ceased to get any sort of reaction from hearing his name, whether it is his death, or his supposed wifes in Mumbai (as reported by some local channels here).
11. YOU ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR MORE!!!

 Strategic planners have this innate habit and drive to connect seemingly unrelated dots and try to make sense of the world around them. Planners need to write BRIEFS not A creative brief

I was reading BBH Lab's list of 100 things planners should know, brilliantly captures by Chaz Wigley, Chairman of BBH Asia. (https://www.bbh-labs.com/chazs-100-things-a-planner-should-know/ ) The 10th point in that list is an interesting one. He says - "If you expect creative people to present you with multiple options then you should be ready to write multiple strategies to tackle the problem." I completely subscribe to this point of view. In fact, I think it should be the way we tackle creative briefs. But any look at a creative brief format of most agencies, you'll notice that it strips one of the ability to write multiple ones. The process is tedious, a lot of the columns are unnecessary that makes one question why it was called BRIEF in the first place.
