Autos and women

There's scientific proof that autos were made to demonstrate the inexplicable traits of women...

1) get caught trying to overtake an auto... And the similarity will stare at you... Apart from the auto itself, no one has any clue where it wants to go. Neither the driver, nor the passenger, and not even the damn tyres. This demonstrates how a woman's brain works.

2) just like an irritating wife or nagging girlfriend, they have the habit of sticking their noses in to everything. Observe an auto from the sky, and you'll notice the similarity. One small gap and they stuff their nose... And if the topic is not what they want (gap not enough), they quickly shift to another topic, caring the least bit to people around....

3) They have running meters like a woman's mouth. Just doesn't stop... And to top it, just so that there is no interference in the monologue, they have a "do not touch me" written on it. As though it's foreplay I am looking forward to...

4) Just like women paraphernalia, autos too have multiple parts that are obsolete and are of no use but just for show!!!

5) Trying to catch an auto sometimes is like approaching a girl in the bar and getting rejected by them all. In utter shame and frustration, men trudge back home.... These are days that autos have conspired to not go to your desired destination.

6) In places like Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi, auto meters are like earrings or rings on women... Just show pieces for beatification purpose....

These are just a few observations. Am sure upon thoroughly examining the two classic entities, more would surely follow.

 Strategic planners have this innate habit and drive to connect seemingly unrelated dots and try to make sense of the world around them. No wonder that they immerse themselves into so many different kinds of things - and each will find its way into the work they do. Planners need to write BRIEFS not A creative brief

I was reading BBH Lab's list of 100 things planners should know, brilliantly captures by Chaz Wigley, Chairman of BBH Asia. (https://www.bbh-labs.com/chazs-100-things-a-planner-should-know/ ) The 10th point in that list is an interesting one. He says - "If you expect creative people to present you with multiple options then you should be ready to write multiple strategies to tackle the problem." I completely subscribe to this point of view. In fact, I think it should be the way we tackle creative briefs. But any look at a creative brief format of most agencies, you'll notice that it strips one of the ability to write multiple ones. The process is tedious, a lot of the columns are unnecessary that makes one question why it was called BRIEF in the first place. I feel a lot of them have too many unnecessary information points for the creative. They, in any case, rarely read it. They don't like briefs, they prefer the BRIEFING.
