NATURE’S LESSON

When I struck by nature’s light
Everything enchanted me
Be it a moonlit summer’s night
Or a naked poplar tree.

I saw an ant that worked all day
On the dirty dusty sod,
Spend some precious time to pray
To the invisible God!

EMPTINESS

I stared at the clock. I watched its every minute and every second. I stared at it until all the noises around me were suddenly put on mute and the only deafening noise was that of the seconds ticking its way into the future. The doctor had told me to wait till 9 pm. It was 7:30 pm and every second was driving me crazy is some very strange way. I could feel my heart beating and realized that it was marching with the beats of the clock’s seconds. Strategic planners, lateral thinking and stand up comedy

 Strategic planners have this innate habit and drive to connect seemingly unrelated dots and try to make sense of the world around them. No wonder that they immerse themselves into so many different kinds of things - and each will find its way into the work they do. Either it's in the brief, in the strategy deck, in the consumer insight, in the quest to simplify complicated thoughts and behaviours, anything. It's almost as if this constant need to connect dots and look for patterns is our coping mechanism to find meaning in chaos. It helps us understand the world better. MUSIC

What is music? It is my cacoon. My secret room to get back to myself which I am almost never with. It is the music of the souls that echoes in our hearts. It is a reflection of who we are at the present. It is the mood changer and a mood definer. No choices in music. Words that connect to the chords of our hearts. It is a direct entry to our true self. Our identity. It makes us cry, laugh, inspires us, changes our mood. It is the that one thing that lets our mind stop reasoning and lets the heart do the talking. It's only when listening to music are we reflecting what our hearts feel. Romantic, metal, hip-hop, pop, it can be anything, classical, jazz; everyone has a preference. As for me, I have none.
